Hey guys, i was just thinking the other day how there are millions of people creating blogs yet they are the only ones who are constantly checking. Well i think this is an excellent solution. anyway down here in LA and i have a summer term so i really cant leave until middle of August.
i'm going to go up July 4th-ish, so i hope we can plan a lunch or something.

hey all,

im in japan. apparently my job is to work on service robots, which is good to know. im living in a dormitory which is actually pretty big which is a surprise. im not quite clear what a service robot is, and none of my bosses seem to speak english which is um `cool` needless to say. right now i just agree to everything and understand one out of three words and just assume the other two dont matter. o yeah, funny thing, the dude ive been emailing and calling MR. itoyama isnt a dude, its a chick so now i feel kinda bad for calling her mister for three months.

i have a ridiculous green uniform and a nice desk, supposedly i get a computer tommorow. right now im using a company computer and being a bad employee, but hey its 5 so im not supposed to be working anyway. anywho, peace out for now. glad to see people actually are using this. o yeah ill be back in cali on august 23 at noon. e-mailing me is about the only way to reach me right now and uh yeah i write wayyyyyyy too much.

I'm going to be in Japan from June 15-24; hypothetically there will be an attempt to meet up with Jason, but since he's on the wrong island that might be difficult. My finals end on June 14th, but I'm probably getting back home on the 16th or 17th. I will be getting a job, but I seem to suck horribly at said activity, so I might also be trying to stab my eyes out half way through the summer if the job I get sucks as much as my ability to find it. Well, barring any painful and potentially life-threatening injuries, self-inflicted or otherwise, I should be in Saratoga pretty much til the end of September.

i'm out of school already, fuckers

I'm totally out of school (like, totally~), so I'm starting work in Mountain View on Tuesday. I should be around home (because i no longer fit in it) for most of summer (unfortunately), so we can hang out or whatever (well, i don't have any booze, so you'll have to do the digging).

And by the way, it's kinda fun being able to edit other people's posts... (only kinda? hilaaaarious. that is, if i was 13 and didn't even have hands or a sister. ooooh! Snap!)

Alex's Summer Plans

Well here's my plans:

I should get back to Saratoga after Summer Session 1 is over on June 26th. So I'll be back by the 28th. I have a job lined up with Well Fargo in SF my understanding is that I'll be up there most of the workday Monday-Friday.

I don't have any major trips planned until the end of August when I'll be driving my car out to Penn State, and possibly to Boston to hang out with Chris.

My weekends should be fairly free this summer.

In summary I'll be back by June 28th and leaving in the end of August.

Chris' Summer Plans

I figured I should follow my own instructions, so:

I will be traveling to Taiwan with my mom for a little while. I leave today and will return on June 9th. I return to Boston on June 16th. I will start my job at Cambridge Place Investment Management (presumably managing some investments and such) the following Monday.

So to summarize, I will be home from June 9th to June 16th. If you want to see me, you have a very narrow window in which to do so.

Maiden Post

At the suggesting of Jason, I have created this blog to help us stay in touch with each other.

For anyone who isn't exactly sure what's going on, the idea is pretty simple: we will all have posting access to this blog and hopefully you will occasionally make posts to this blog that the rest of us will then be able to read (thereby accomplishing the fomerly arduous task of alerting each of us individually).
